I was looking for some unusual ways to serve bacon and eggs and earlier in the week was watching BBC2’s new series The Little Paris Kitchen - Cooking with Rachel Khoo. She made a her own version of Croque Monsieur called Croque Madames Muffins.

I thought Rachel’s Croque Madame Muffins looked great but was delighted to come across a similar recipe in Domestic Sluttery which used very simple breakfast ingredients - bacon, eggs, bread, butter and some salt and pepper.
